The sweet taste of cinnamon and sugar layered in a vanilla cupcake topped with swirled cinnamon and vanilla frosting plus a mini snickerdoodle. These cupcakes do not need much of an introduction other than that. These are simply delicious and beautiful cupcakes. So I wasn’t surprised when my daughter picked these as one of her cupcakes to share with our family and friends to celebrate her 8th birthday. To make them extra yummy and beautiful, add the mini snickerdoodle cookies. Follow the recipe just each mini cookie is 2 teaspoons of cookie dough per cookie. Bake them for 7 minutes.
The two flavored swirled frosting a real winner . Here is a great Tutorial for using three piping bags to get the swirled frosting, how to swirl frosting. The only thing I do differently, as noted in my pictures, I do not use a coupler. It is simple once you get the hang of it so do not be intimidated.
Basically you take three piping bags.
Fill two bags with the frosting, then lay them flat and gently push down the frosting do it flattens.
Place one bag on top of each other and gently slid them into the third piping bag.
Carefully guide the tips of the two filled bags to the piping tip.
Firmly squeeze the piping bags until equal portions of both colors come out.
Then frost cupcakes as desired.
