LOVE LOVE this cupcake with Peanut Butter frosting. The addition of the M & M’s is just an added bonus in the cupcake and as decoration over the frosting. These make another excellent birthday cupcake.
I created several gifts during the month of December but this was by far the easiest and it cost me nothing. The most rewarding part of making a handmade gift is seeing the reaction of the recipients. This gift was given to a new grandmother.

The sweet taste of cinnamon and sugar layered in a vanilla cupcake topped with swirled cinnamon and vanilla frosting plus a mini snickerdoodle. These cupcakes do not need much of an introduction other than that. These are simply delicious and beautiful cupcakes. So I wasn’t surprised when my daughter picked these as one of her cupcakes to share with our family and friends to celebrate her 8th birthday. To make them extra yummy and beautiful, add the mini snickerdoodle cookies. Follow the recipe just each mini cookie is 2 teaspoons of cookie dough per cookie. Bake them for 7 minutes.
The two flavored swirled frosting a real winner . Here is a great Tutorial for using three piping bags to get the swirled frosting, how to swirl frosting. The only thing I do differently, as noted in my pictures, I do not use a coupler. It is simple once you get the hang of it so do not be intimidated.
Basically you take three piping bags.
Fill two bags with the frosting, then lay them flat and gently push down the frosting do it flattens.
Place one bag on top of each other and gently slid them into the third piping bag.
Carefully guide the tips of the two filled bags to the piping tip.
Firmly squeeze the piping bags until equal portions of both colors come out.
My brother and his family moved to Florida August of 2014. It’s crazy how your heart can be broken when a loved one moves. I miss him, his wife and their 4 kids dearly. When they lived in Minnesota they were 3 hours away but 3 hours away is nothing compared to several states away. So I created this glittered state and poem to remind them, and myself the bond we have even though the distance is between us is greater.
Steps to creating the glittered state
Print out your state from google images
Using a copier, adjust the height of the image to the size you need and print on heavier card stock paper
Cut out the state
Poke a hole in the state where you will put the heart
